蓄電池牽引電動(dòng)平車(chē)?yán)檬殖植僮髌鬟M(jìn)行起動(dòng)操作。手持操作器上的控制開(kāi)關(guān)用來(lái)接通控制電源，方向選擇開(kāi)關(guān)用來(lái)選擇牽引車(chē)的運(yùn)行方向。順時(shí)針旋轉(zhuǎn)手持操作器上的調(diào)速手柄，電動(dòng)平板車(chē)主接觸器通電閉合，電機(jī)接電開(kāi)始旋轉(zhuǎn)，旋轉(zhuǎn)增大，電機(jī)轉(zhuǎn)速增加；逆時(shí)針旋轉(zhuǎn)調(diào)速手柄，電機(jī)轉(zhuǎn)速降低，旋轉(zhuǎn)到終點(diǎn)時(shí)，主接觸器斷電釋放，電機(jī)停止旋轉(zhuǎn)，電動(dòng)平車(chē)走行停止。
    制動(dòng)蓄電池牽引軌道平車(chē)的準(zhǔn)確停車(chē)也是控制的一個(gè)重要方面。這里我們采用的是調(diào)速器和電磁制動(dòng)器相結(jié)合的制動(dòng)方式，其應(yīng)用效果明顯。通過(guò)調(diào)速器本身的制動(dòng)功能加上電磁制動(dòng)器抱閘的作用，使軌道平板車(chē)制動(dòng)距離短，完全滿(mǎn)足工位要求。為節(jié)約蓄電池電量，電磁制動(dòng)器選用節(jié)能型制（動(dòng)器動(dòng)作電流為３Ａ，保持電流為ｏ．０２Ａ）。在電機(jī)旋轉(zhuǎn)的同時(shí)電磁制動(dòng)器“制動(dòng)起動(dòng)”和接觸器“制動(dòng)維持”接觸器動(dòng)作，使剎車(chē)機(jī)構(gòu)打開(kāi)。當(dāng)動(dòng)作２ｓ后，“制動(dòng)起動(dòng)”接觸器釋放，“制動(dòng)維持”接觸器繼續(xù)吸引，使電磁制動(dòng)器以一個(gè)很小的電流繼續(xù)工作。
